These films & documentaries and social events called "Sunday Nite Suppers" are hosted at no charge by the Verdes Art League and welcome all members & their guests.
Fernando Botero | Columbian Artist: 1932 – 2023
Born from humble beginnings this Columbian artist born in Medellín Columbia, Botero possessed great ambition. This led him on a tumultuous creative journey ultimately shaping his signature style of “Volumetric Art”.
This documentary features extensive interviews and archival footage, offering insight into one of the most prolific artists of the 20th century.
This fascinating account of his life and work is not without criticism, making him an extraordinarily compelling figure to understand. Through deep emotional connections, his children offer personal insights into his life and legacy.
