About verna alexander

Verna Alexander studied at KC Art Institute. She loved portraits and used charcoal as her preferred medium though she eventually gravitated towards oils. Originally from Minnesota, she and her husband Charlie moved to Rio Verde and had their home built in 1977. Verna became fascinated with the different Native American cultures of this area and painted many Native portraits of all ages.
